The Moderne

Milwaukee, WI

The Moderne, which is currently the tallest building west of the Milwaukee River, is a mixed-use residential development that contains 203 apartment units and towers 30 stories above Milwaukee’s skyline.

Butters-Fetting Co. was commissioned to design and install complex HVAC systems for this $55.2 million project. Members of Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 18 completed the work.

Eleven25 at Pabst

Milwaukee, WI

Pabst Brewing Co.’s bottling house, which fills roughly three-fourths of a city block, was converted into a student apartment development called Eleven25 at Pabst after sitting dormant for nearly 20 years.

Mared Mechanical Contractors, Inc. spent more than 22,000 man hours fabricating and installing ductwork, piping and temperature controls for this project. Members of Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 18 and Steamfitters Local 601 completed the work.

Froedtert/MCW

Milwaukee, WI

The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Advanced Care is a 12-story building that includes three floors of underground parking.

J.F. Ahern Co., was commissioned for complex HVAC and plumbing systems throughout nine stories — over 600,000 sq. ft. — of the building. Members of Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 18 and Steamfitters Local 601 completed the work.
