Working in the shop to assemble finished products such as:

Fabrication
Working in the shop to make finished components for construction projects such as:

- All other parts and fittings as necessary
Sheet Metal Installers
Install various sheet metal products, primarily building and installing ductwork for HVAC systems in predominantly commercial applications with some residential work as well.
- Installation sites include everything from private homes, to malls and department stores, to clean rooms in technology research facilities and hospitals
Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing Technician
Once a building is operational and all of the HVAC systems are in place, a TAB Tech handles:
- Tests every component of the system to certify that it is working to the engineers’ specifications
- Adjusting duct dampers, grills, heating and cooling coils, fans, waterflows in radiant heating systems, along with numerous other minor adjustments to the HVAC system in a building that makes its possible for employees to be productive at work
- Balancing airflows and waterflows to every individual zone in the system so that the system is working as efficiently as possible
- TAB Techs are the final sign-off on a completed HVAC system before the building can be occupied
- Performing energy audits for existing buildings to increase energy efficiency and promote Green Technologies and Practices
Service Techs
Once a building is operational, Service Techs handle:
- Servicing old equipment like furnaces, AC units, ductwork, gas piping, refrigeration lines, and wiring if necessary
- Installing new units when necessary
Welders (Trained and Certified in our AWS Testing Lab)
Work in both field and shop
- Constructing grease ducts
- Stainless steel hoods
- Stainless steel exhaust ducts
Drafters and AutoDesk Tech
Sketching, Hand Drafting and CAD
- Designing everything from individual fittings to entire HVAC systems for commercial buildings
- Use of Trimble Station, Navis, AutoDesk, and other drafting technologies to lay out jobs digitally and using GPS coordinates
