Apprenticeship
Complete your union apprenticeship to become a sheet metal worker in just five years — and get paid while you learn! As an apprentice, you’ll learn in a state-of-the-art training center using some of the industry’s most advanced integrated design and modeling software, augmented and virtual reality and smart devices.
Salary range: $31 - $91K
Journeyperson
As your skills increase, so does your pay. Once you have completed your professional training and earn journeyperson status, you’ll be qualified to perform work under your own supervision — and even help train new apprentices!
Salary range: $66K - $164K
Foreperson
A foreperson is among the most experienced workers in the field. In addition to being current in their knowledge of industry standards, codes and procedures, these skilled tradespeople also train and manage workers, perform quality control and oversee site progress.
Salary range: $83K - $181K
Company Owner
Individuals who aspire to become a company owner are passionate about the sheet metal industry and their craft. They stay on top of current trends and always look for ways to increase productivity and efficiency, while providing exceptional customer service.
